Chris Lane introduces us to the new Safety Alert System at the 2010 Bassmaster Classic in Birmingham, AL. The Safety Alert System is a patented system that alerts other watercraft users following you when your watercraft is slowing down. An amber LED light illuminates when the electronic microprocessor senses the G forces generated upon deceleration. By pushing a button, the LED can be put into distress mode to alert other water craft that you need assistance.
