BENTON, Ken. (May 3, 2010) – Two current members of the PAA Board of Directors have been re-elected and a new member is coming on the board following voting by PAA Tour members.
Dave Mansue of Hemphill, Texas, and Chad Morgenthaler of Coulterville, Ill., were re-elected for a second term on the board. Joining them is Mike McClelland of Bella Vista, Ark.
McClelland competes on the Bassmaster Elite Series, has won six times and has qualified for seven Bassmaster Classic championships. He has career winnings of $1.19 million.
Elections were conducted in April following nominations by PAA members. Anglers who accepted the nomination were asked to submit responses and ideas about the PAA and their thoughts on future growth. Votes were cast by the PAA’s Tour members.
Along with Mansue, Morgenthaler and McClelland, other Board members are John Crews of Salem, Va.; Kurt Dove of Del Rio, Texas; Paul Elias of Laurel, Miss.; Kelly Jordon of Minneola, Texas; Matt Reed of Madisonville, Texas; Zell Rowland of Montgomery, Texas; and Brian Snowden of Reeds Springs, Mo.
Sean Hoernke of Magnolia, Texas, ended his term on the Board and did not seek re-election.
Board members will elect new officers to fill the positions of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.
