Parallelium and Lake Fork Tackle have come together to bring this once European line to the United States. This new array of lines is going to shock the industry with its unique properties. The two main lines being advertised now are the Powersilk and the Fluorohybrid.
The Powersilk is a low stretch multi-coated copolymer with these specs:
· 11% Stretch
· Very Smooth (Digital Precision Winding)
· Virtually NO memory
· Extremely small diameter (15lb test= .011”)
· 240 yard spools in 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 21, and 28 pound test
The Fluorohybrid has a double core extrusion combining a copolymer with fluorocarbon:
· 100 % waterproof
· Extremely long durability
· 23% stretch
· Ultra limp and smooth (Digital Precision Winding)
· Very small diameter (20lb test= .014”)
· 240 yard spools in 7, 10, 14, 20, 26, 32, and 37 pound test
After personally testing these lines I can say I have never seen anything like it. I have had the same spool of 14lb Fluorohybrid on one of my rods for 3 months now. No break offs, not a single backlash and I’ve boat flipped 4 pounders with it. Both the lines are going to make a difference in your fishing game. It’s cheaper than most high end lines, so it won’t blast a hole in your wallet either. Another line in the mix is an 8 strand fluoro-braid that is soon to come. This line should be industry changing as well. The only flaw with this product that I have found is the spool itself. It does not come in a box and has the hanger right on the spool. This makes it difficult if you are trying to spool your reel with the line spool on the ground. I solved this issue by simply breaking it off with some pliers until it was rotationally capable. This line just came off the plane but expect to see it soon. Spools are available at
