Hero (explain): Fishing hero: My Dad! He took me fishing every day I wanted to go when I was too young to drive myself.
Career Highlights: I have won six qualifying events in the Bass Federation Nation. I have qualified (5) years in a row and qualified in all three tournaments one year. I have double qualified a couple of years and won the Mid-Atlantic Divisional in Maine in 2005.
I have won at least (10) Region tournaments in Region 2 with my Son. Last year we were blessed to win a Fully Rigged Ranger by winning the David Fritts Team Tournament Trail Classic held at Claytor Lake. I finished 5th at Smith Mountain in 2005 in the B.A.S.S. Northern Open. I made the cut in the Northern Stren Tournament held on Buggs Island in 2008. I have finished 2nd in two BFL’s and won numerous other tournaments. I have created a wonderful Jig called the “Cheeseburger Jig”. It is marketed by Hunter Creek Bait and is sold in quite a few stores including Gander Mountain, however, more important than that, it catches fish. It gives me great joy to know that something which I created really works and can help my fellow anglers reach their full jig fishing potential. I have been able to do several fishing seminars and have spoken in several churches. I love the sport and the guys which I compete with. What a great group of human beings. One last word, I give all of the glory and honor to my Lord and Savior for blessing my fishing!
