I am very excited about representing and being a member of the GEICO Powersports fishing team. GEICO is consistent in their commitment to professional bass fishing and when you have someone that committed in your corner it allows you to go out and compete at the highest levels. Its one thing to sponsor an event but GEICO has invested in a team; they’re in the thick of it and that certainly motivates me.

Children: Jon 22 currently at Marine Corp Boot-Camp, Justin who travels and fishes the ESPN Weekend Series with me, and Taylor who loves to crappie fish.

Accomplishments
1) A national recognized fishing and hunting guide for 16-years; has appeared in many national publications such as Bassmaster, BassTimes, Outdoor Life, Peterson’s, and Waterfowl Hunter.
2) Been a guess speaker at the Bassmaster Classic in 2002 and in 2005
3) Authored the book “Fishing Lake Anna with Teddy Carr”.
4) Appearances on outdoor television.
5) 2007 champion ESPN Bassmaster Weekend Series event on the upper Chesapeake Bay, 7th place 2007 ESPN Weekend Series event on the Potomac River, 15th place 2008 ESPN Bassmaster Weekend Series Regional Championship, and two time (2007 and 2008) ESPN Bassmaster Weekend Series National Championship qualifier.
