We caught up with Virginia Federation Nation angler Jeff Salmon at the Nanticoke River in Salisbury, MD for the Federation Nation Mid-Atlantic Divisional lowdown. The Mid-Atlantic division anglers were met today with extreme high tide conditions and the weights suffered. Jeff told us he was on a flipping bite and the high water made it impossible to fish the areas he had been catching them in practice. Jeff said he really had to work for his fish today; at 2pm he only had one keeper in the boat. Luckily, the tide got “right” and he quickly put 3 more keepers in the boat. Overall Jeff was happy with the day and is looking forward to day 2.
Note: A cold front moving into the area could change things up a bit tomorrow.
