Bass Pro Tour Heads Toward Lake Erie Finale

The Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour regular season will conclude August 6–9 on Lake Erie.

The final event carries major implications across the field. Angler of the Year standings, REDCREST qualification positions and tour-level careers could all be decided on one of the most unpredictable fisheries in the country.

Lake Erie can produce massive smallmouth bass, but wind, waves and changing weather conditions can completely reshape an event overnight. Anglers will need to balance long runs, fish management and rapidly changing conditions to remain in contention.

Lake J.B. Thomas finished second, while Texas once again showed its strength as a bass fishing destination. The state placed 10 fisheries inside the Top 100, including Lake Fork in the eighth position.

Major League Fishing Introduces Top 10 Club

Major League Fishing is also promoting its new Top 10 Club connected to the Bass Pro Tour.
